U.S.S. Enterprise - NCC-1701-F - Master System Display

Almost a decade ago i was tasked with creating an MSD for the USS Enterprise-F for Star Trek Online. Due to work commitments at the time the project never came to fruition, so I was delighted when the studio reached out to me in 2023 to create the MSD of the updated ship for Star Trek Picard Season 3, to coincide with the ships canon appearance onscreen!

This is by far the largest MSD I've created to date, the ship is as tall as a Galaxy class, but much longer. The project took me roughly 4 weeks to complete

The initial mock-up of the MSD. The first thing I do is ascertain the ships length and work out where the decks are. i then add blocks to indication where major components are (also aligning them to details on the outer hull)

Adjusting colors and adding deck details. I use blueprints of the sets used in the shows, as well as concept art, to get a varied mix of rooms, I create everything to scale as well, so that everything looks as accurate as possible.
